Keepers has no account, no server and no analytics. We do not collect anything about you, and we could not identify you if we wanted to. Everything below is the detail behind that.

The short version
Your photos stay on your phone. Keepers has nowhere to send them, because Keepers has no servers at all.
What Keepers keeps, and where
Keepers stores a small amount of information in its own storage on your device:
which photos you have kept or cleared, recorded as the identifiers iOS gives them, not as copies of the photos
how much you have cleared, how many photos, and which days you had a session
up to twelve small thumbnails of photos you recently cleared, so the bin on the home screen can show your own photos rather than stock ones
your settings: the daily reminder and its time, and whether you have seen the intro
None of this leaves your device, and none of it is readable by us. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Your photos
Keepers asks for access to your photo library so it can show you your photos one at a time. It reads them on the device to display them. It does not upload them, copy them off the device, back them up, or transmit them anywhere.
Clearing photos. Nothing is deleted while you are swiping. Photos you set aside are only removed after you approve the batch on the summary screen, and iOS then shows its own confirmation on top of that. Approved photos go to your Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for 30 days and you can restore them.
Location
Photos often carry the place they were taken. Keepers reads that from the photo, on your device.
There is one exception to everything staying local. If you press and hold a photo to see its details, the coordinates from that photo are sent to Apple’s geocoding service so they can be turned into a place name. That request goes to Apple, not to us — we never receive it and never store it. If you do not open that view, no location information leaves your phone. Apple’s handling of that request is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Storage information
Keepers reads how much space your device has and how much is free, so it can show you what your camera roll is costing you. That is read on the device and shown to you. It is not recorded and not sent.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your card, or your Apple Account details. Apple tells the app one thing only: whether a subscription is currently active.
Notifications
If you switch on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your phone by iOS. There is no push server, and no notification is ever sent by us.
Analytics, tracking and advertising
None of it. There is no analytics software in Keepers, no advertising, and no third-party code that reports on what you do. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data, because we do not have any.
Children
Keepers is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you the right to see, correct and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show you or erase. Everything Keepers keeps is on your device and under your control — reset it from within Settings in the app, or delete the app to remove all of it at once.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
